Sunset on the beach

Sunset on the beach

Pink blue and orange race across the sky to be the first to bleed into the crystal blue water,

Chased by the center of the universe as it begins to melt into the vast ocean,

A wave stretches to blanket the waiting shore leaving behind  a multitude of treasures given up by the sea

Toes dig into slowly cooling Sand that was warmed from A touch by  the sun as it hung in the sky

A cool  breeze  engulfing in its intent to sooth

Seigels make themselves known  in a choreographed song and dance overhead

Salt lingering on the tongue from a kiss blessed by the Ocean

A show given by the master orchestrator.

Book trope 2

So I've been having trouble with my boss I had to break up is the latest discussion so let's get started

Loving the unlovable

They are called bloodsuckers, n, and the undead. Of course I am talking about vampires. In this trope vampires findfwfe love. Whether it's with a human or with other creatures like themselves they find a life  or unlife partner.
RJ
A book with this trope

Vampire Academy by,  Rochelle  Need

This novel is a part of the series what I personally have not finished.  This storyThe kisser
Blends   Romance two kinds of empires and action.   This series follow the girl named Rose who is a vampire and her experiences in a "

That   Magic  kiss

Sounds interesting right? In this scenario a kiss is not just simply a kiss. It lets The kisser experience the  thoughts and emotions of the person the kids. this of course has chaotic consequences for all parties involved.

Into you by; Riley J Ford

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=Into+you&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3AInto+you

this is technically  A young adult book there are definitely some explicit scenes harsh language in adult content.   In this novel a girl has just figured out her towers. She must solve a murder that took place within her. Finding love  on the way .

Sorry   Due to issues with the blog I'm afraid that's all I have for this week hopefully next week will be better and I'll probably try to post something else later on this weekend

Book Tropes part 1

Greetings my fellow book lovers!  Today I want to talk about book tropes. A book trope is a certain scenario that can be found in numerous books. For instance I have read quite a few books where the characters take a road trip and  find romance on the journey. Now I know  with so many people writing books   there will be situations that are similar to one another.  today I want to talk about the book tropes  I have read  more than one of.  Let's jump right into it.

A  deadly touch

Holding hands hugging and kissing are an impossibility for the characters found in the books of this particular  Book trope.   Because w .hen they touch a person it kills.  The person with the killer  Touch usually  falls prey to other  people, Becoming  a political pawn. Or it serves as a catalyst to further along the story.

 A Book  with the storyline

 Shatter me  by;   Tahareh Mafi

http://www.amazon.com/Shatter-Me-Tahereh-Mafi/dp/0062085506/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1460470564&sr=8-1&keywords=Shatter+me

264 days that's how long Juliet has been locked up for murder. She has not been allowed physical contact with anyone since then. Her Touch is lethal. No one has been able to figure out why. And the possibility for low has been more than she dreamed.   Until a hot guy comes who works for  The establishment appears. Dare she hope for the possibility to be near someone again?

Angelic mission;

In this trope  generally a fallen angel must come to earth to redeem himself. He or she has to save
either a single person or all of humanity. Also finding love in the process.  To go along with this there are also those books where an Angel, who is not fallen  is sent to protect a particular person weather because they hold the  Key  To something or they themselves are an angel. Who can resist that?

A book with this Trope

 Hush hush by; Becca Fitzpatrick

http://www.amazon.com/Hush-Saga/dp/1416989420/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1460589240&sr=1-3&keywords=Hush-hush

Words

Words, they are the foundation of our lives. The Bible says that God spoke the world into existence.

If they are strong enough to create the earth they must have enough power to impact our every day

life.  Not only can words hurt emotionally I think that they can shake a persons self image. Words are

so easily spoken with very little thought for their consequences. They can be used to inflict emotional

and  psychological  harm if not used properly. The effects of which can last a lifetime.  Solution for

this unnecessary onslaught of pain. Simply consider the words that are coming out of your mouth. Do

they up lift? Can they be seen as something  constructive?  If the answer is no then just don't say

them. A lot of heart ache can be avoided by the proper usage of our words. Even if it seems as if

someone is not taking what we say to heart it's reaching them.  A kind word can be the bridge

someone needs to get from a bad day to a good one and you could be the builder of that

steppingstone.  It's a great responsibility that we have been given so let's consider our words before

we say them. We should hold ourselves accountable to what  words we speak. Let's be that healing

touch that someone might need. While words have the capacity to do great harm they also can create

great beauty. For authors and POETS  words  are the lifeblood of their craft. We can use words to

create something breathtaking like Beethoven used notes to comepose his famous fifth Symphony. Or

like the paints that Michelangelo used to create his masterpiece on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel.

But wait! You may say, "I'm no poet I also can't write my way out of a paper bag". Don't let this hold

you back from creating your word masterpiece.  Some of the worlds most beautiful works of art are

not captured on canvas or recorded on a piece of paper. Take the beauty of a sunset with its light blue,

oranges, and pinks. Or snow as it gently falls to the waiting blanket on the ground below.  Here one

moment and gone the next let our words be like those works of art if not touching millions then

touching just one. Out of the thousands of words we say every day we can string a handful of them

together and make a difference. Isn't it our responsibility to do so? Let us not carelessly speak words

into the universe today, but making a conscious effort to speak only the words that are life-giving.

Add to the artwork of words today and write a poem or short story. Be brave and try your hand at

writing a novel. We are all artistic and it is time we started acting like the artists we are.

Books that stick

  • if you are an  avid  reader  as I am,   I'm sure you are always on the lookout for the next it read book.   The ones that stick with you even when you are reading them.  Books that  Touch  you for whatever reason.  You know the one i'm talking about.   A book  that stays with you.  Whether it's something you loved or hated it  provoked   An extreme reaction.  We all have them.  If you read long enough, you will acquire quite a list.  I thought today I would share a few of those books that were found their way into my cannot forget shelf..

Sweet reckoning, by, Wendy Higgins  is third in The sweet trilogy
In this story Anna  discovers that  she is descended from a demon
And her job is  to be a bad influence on society. She must figure out how to save humankind  and put a stop to the evil forces.

Why was  this book so memberoble,
One of the most memorable scenes in this book was when Anna met her dad " The Demon" for the first time.  It was sweet. I know it doesn't sound like it would be, I mean it's demon. Despite it's flaws it has earned a place on my unforgettable reads shelf.

Delirium, by Lauren Oliver book one in the delirium series

This book takes place in a dystopian society where love is  forbidden. Yet one girl decides to fight the system  for the right to love.

Why was this book so memorable?

I will not to  tell you about  the scene because I do not want to  give  spoilers but the  Final scene in the first book of the trilogy was powerful. The entire book was powerful to me I cannot recommend this book highly enough if you haven't read it I would say.

Healer, the  sixth book in the O'Malley series by Dee  Henderson

This series  follows a family as they figure out love, faith, and find a few killers.

 Why was this book memorable?

There is an extremely  emotional   Moment  near the end of the book again I cannot say cause that would be a spoiler but needless to say it is definitely a tearjerker movement in I suggest you bring tissues for this one.

Every last word By, Tammara Ireland Stone

This story is about a girl who struggles with OCD in social anxiety. She meets a boy and a deep friendship  occurs .as their friendship deepens her grasp on reality loosens
Once you figure out a way to keep everything in order?

 Why was this book  memorable?
I think that  some of the  scenes that stick out to me are the ones  when The main character battles with OCD, I struggle with it myself so I could identify.

So far my Most memorable have been of the good  variety .  Now let's talk about those books that I just couldn't get into or was turned off by.  We've all come across them.

Dark places by Gillian Flynn

This is about a woman who is struggling with her family's murder, And her brothers corresponding conviction. Soon a family secret will come to light.

Why does this book so memorable, in

I did not care for her writing  style. I didn't appreciate the way she described thing.  I found myself not able to eat while I was reading her  book. Although, her story line was solid. There was also a really odd twist at the end. I could not get past her description. I almost did not finish her book

Now we are down to the last book I want to talk about today. It is memorable for how much I did not like it. In fact, I didnt finish it and there is no way I'm to continue with the series.

Shatter me by,  Tahereh

This book is another dystopian fantasy. It follows the life of a girl who has a touch that kills people.  Others will try to use this power for their advantage and she must figure out how to stop  them .
Why was this booktubes so memorable

I thoroughly did not like her writing I didn't care for the main characters in her room on the lawn at one point I thought my iPad was broken because she kept repeating herself in her dialogue. Also the love triangle was gringe  worthy.    I know that this is not a very popular opinion. However, I must stick to my guns.

Whether I don't like these books or not. I am grateful to the authors for giving me an  experience to remember.  What are some of your most memorable read? Let me know and we can discuss. And of course as always made the pages be with you – Anna

Good morning my lovelies, today I have something very exciting  in store for you .  I will be doing a book tag that I have created. Or at least it's like no other book tag I have seen.   It is called the dog breed tag. I will be naming various dog breeds in the books corresponding to it. I love watching tags on  booktubes so I thought I'd try my hand at it, I hope you enjoy and try it yourself. Let's get started!

Labrador retriever –  loyal, lovable, happy and friendly these are great family pets
What is a book  that you have read which is perfect for the entire family
– I would have to say any book in the Amelia badilia series by Peggy parish.  These books are highly entertaining and I would definitely recommend them.

Rottweiler  independent, loyal in protected,-while these dogs are highly intelligent they could be temperamental and territorial they're not recommended for small children what book have you read  that you would classify as an adult book and not suitable for young children
– For this breed I chose this present darkness by Frank Paretti  while this was a good book because of the subject matter it might be unnerving for younger  readers.   It deals with Angels  demons and the interplay with people

Jack Russell terrier – intelligent  fearless and energetic  these   Dogs  are loving highly intelligent very easily trained and extremely energetic they like to run. Choose a book that was packed with action
– For this I chose black ice by Becca Fitzpatrick. This book was filled with snow suspense and a little romance I love all her books but I really like this one.

Bassett Hound– Devoted stubborn and gentle, these dogs were bred to hunt and are excellent with their noses for this dog breed telling  Book that was full of mystery.
– For this one I chose the Guardian by Dee Henderson. It was full of mystery that kept me guessing.
Great Dane dash, Giant gentle in Graceful. This breed is known for Its giant size ,name a book that was quite large – –and  intimidating for you to read 600 pages or larger

Hey guys,

My favorite genres which I have mentioned before our romantic suspense and young adults i'm just  dipping  my toe in the new adult genre. So I'll see how that goes.  Yes,I do have a life outside of reading though I will admit it takes up  a major chunk of my time.  I do enjoy writing. Mostly poetry and short stories.  Though I have tried my hand at writing a novel.  I should work more on that  actually. I'm also very involved in my church.  I love helping out in the children's ministry.kids can be very fun.  They can also be exhausting!  Which is why I am more than happy to be able to return them to their parents at the end of service. :-)   I'm also a really big animal lover and I currently own a six-year-old  Bassett   Hound  named Oscar  as soon as I can figure out how I will upload a picture of him.  I do have a lot of  Health  issues one of which being visual problems.   So I spend my time listening to my books. Reading goals

Sorry  it has been so long guys  funny story I forgot the website that I  post my blog  finally I remembered it so I am posting a new blog  so I have a huge TBR list that keeps growing by the day. And I figured 2016 would be a really good year to  read  some of those books  that I have been putting off getting too.  The first book that I will admit to  putting off reading is quite a large one. Since I do not read the hard copy of the book and listen to it on audible I cannot tell you the page count but I will tell you it is 20 hours long.  It is the finale in a very popular  futuristic fairy  tail retelling  I am sure you have all guessed it by now. You can go on ahead with the public shaming.  The first book on my list is.

 Winter by Marissa Mayer

The next book I would really like to read this year is the first in a series. Everyone on goodreads  and booktube  have raved about this book.  With a bad ass female character who is an assassin what is there not to love  or so I'm told   I've hesitated because there are quite a few in the series. I just wasn't sure that I wanted to commit to another series. But this is the year.

 Throne of glass By Sara

Now I have no excuse for this next one I adore the first book and then the second one came out and I just never bought it I've decided that this year was the year   It is a fascinating story about a girl Who is accused of something and then  ends up with the word lust on her neck. I hope I have  intrigued you enough to want to read the book.
.

Hunted by Missy Kalicicki  and Abi

The next book  on my  to read list of 2016.  is another series finale I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I've been  hesitating because I do not want to say goodbye to the characters.  I decided however this would be the year I would finally read this last  novel in this  series  it is a fun young adult series aboutfamous movie stars  and  the hijinks they get into

here awwithout you; inbetween the lines  by Tammara Webber

I need to add more classics to my  read bookshelf so this next one is going to be a classic.   It is one I have never read before but sounds interesting. There's adultery and a baby out of wedlock sounds like the plot to a daytime soup opera. But I look forward to checking it out.

The scarlet letter  by Nathaniel Hawthorne

OK so that is my list for right now it will be interesting to see how many of these I get finished is new for me to make a reading  goals  like this.  Also, after reading through a few posts I realize that I need to start using punctuation on a regular basis.  which apparently I have been  failing  to do.    In addition to that I've decided that I will start    Writing  one post a week
Now it's your turn to make this little block interact what books do you plan on reading for 2016? Thanks again for reading in May the peters be with  you  Anna

Books in the TV shows

You know how when you read a bookyou can picture everything that is going on in that scene. It's almost as if you're watching a movie in your mind. Which is the fun of reading a book. You can go as fast or as slow as you wanton your literature journeySometimes a book gathers such a mass following that producers and actors  want to see such a cult classic brought to the big/little screen.  Plus we get such blockbusters as the giver and The hunger games.  Other times it is thought  that a  book would translate better on the small screen.  Giving us shows such as game of thrones and pretty little liars.  There are pros and cons to this practice.

 Some of which being;

 Pros;
Our mental movie now is brought to reality.  We get to see it in real time
You get to spend more time with your favorite characters beyond the end of the book.
It allows people who would usually  not be into books such   As   Nonreaders

 Cons,
Sometimes directors take  the movies /TV series in a direction that the book did not go

Actors cast to play the part of our favorite characters do not always match up with the mental image that we have

The movie or television series may not do the book justice sometimes the book you just stay  A book

I hope that this blog has been thought provoking.  Read a book and then watch the movie it was turn into.  It is always interesting  for me to see how other people perceive the story that I was so enamored.  With.  As always I greatly  appreciate you taking the time to read this block and may the pages with you  yours truly Anna
